"Bankmed is an incredible medical aid. Not once have I ever had any problems. Son is asthmatic and rugby player. Whenever there was an emergency rugby injury or asthma attack, not once were there any problems with this medical aid. Their service is efficient, professional. Staff are helpful, they listen and are efficient! Husband is diabetic & also has paplidoema - any tests, hospitalisation were done and accepted by BANKMED with no hiccups whatsover. Will never move from this Medical Aid - they are the best!"

"1. Bonitas needs to improve their Website which can be viewed through Medscheme. It is not useful, as one cannot access the site even though you have provided the correct login details. 2. They need to specify the meaning of no limit in Hospitalisation and hospital authorisation because it is required that you get authorisation first before admission. Even though you have authorisation, its not a guarantee that they will pay the full amount of Hospitalisation. After you have been admitted and its time to pay, they come up with Hospital Rates that are not applicable to them, hence the shortfall. "
