santam is a very good insurer my late husband had an accident in 2008 .he called his insurerer to report the acc. a tow truck was at the acc . in 10 minutes time and the bakkie was fixed within weeks time

Due to claims submitted (3 in one year) I was penalized with an excees payment of R3350 on claims on my gate and borehole motors. Not acceptable to me!!!

Santam has been tried and tested by me. They have been around for many years, and I think has the best reputation as a Short Term company, rates are good, and claims are paid.Never lets me down

There premiums are higher, however their claim process is seamless and quick in addition they are flexible when it comes to amending your policy to match your personal needs as they arise.

They are the cheapest, their claims procedure are well set in place, their agents are always friendly and helpfull, and their documentation are easilly understandable and user friendly.

My car was in an accident and when I submitted the claim I was helped on one phone call and Santam gave me a dedicated claim manager and direct contact number for all my claims related queries. The consultants are very professional. I had a choice on panelbeaters and they have a few in my area. Thanks for the hassle-free claim Santam.
