Currently not happy with the banking fees and the service provided when replacing a card, had to go into the bank and everytime a card or person who had access to the replacement card was not available.

Excruciatingly expensive bank charges ever.
Bank Charges in SA are becoming ridiculous.

Good bank and available almost everywhere. Bank fees could be better though. Internet and cellphone banking is excellent.

A fantastic account offering great value for money. Takes virtually no time to open. Extremely useful that Absa has such as vast ATM network. Don't have to stand in queues to take money from a till-point or use another bank's ATM.
I have tried to be registered by the bank as the person who has power of attorney on the account of my mother-in-law who is 80 and whose husband has just passed away and this is a total nightmare.
