Why does the Nedbank consultants tell you that you can't open an everyday savings account? They tell you that you HAVE to open a Current Account if you earn more than X-amount.What if you are only looking to put some money into a savings account? Are they getting commission if they sell you an expensive product? I now sit with a Nedbank Current account that is of no use to me. Nedbank is however getting the monthly fee from this account...I am going into the branch to close this account. If they get this message, they can call me -

I have been a client of Nedbank for 16+ years with a savings account and recently upgraded to the Savvy account. I am very happy with the savings on banking fees and the flexcibality of this account.
